Hi, I'm Sophie, a freelance designer living near the gorgeous Lake District, UK. I have been working as an illustrator for over 10 years, since graduating with a degree in Illustration from Loughborough University. I have worked within busy design studios and now work freelance from my home studio. I specialise in designing greetings cards, stationery, gift and home wares for the children's and retail market.

I have always had a passion for design and illustration since I was a little girl and draw inspiration from everything and everyone around me. I have a passion for children's illustration and am addicted to collecting children's books. I have two children and we love sharing stories together. I am also a big nature lover and enjoy exploring the outdoors. In my artwork I like combining colours and patterns to create fun, detailed and imaginative illustrations...some of which might feature my beloved terrier dog Pip!
